An interviewer for every applicant
Alex, GoNoGo's AI startup mentor, holds a 15-minute voice interview with each applicant using your criteria, then researches the market behind the answers. Your team starts the first cut from comparable reports instead of forms, and makes every decision.
How can a program screen hundreds of applications without losing the conversation?
Give every applicant the same structured interview instead of a form. An AI interviewer asks each founder about the problem, the customer, who pays and why now, using your criteria, and returns comparable reports. Your team reads ready material for the first cut and decides.
- A 15-minute voice interview with every applicant, at any hour, in more than twenty languages
- Questions, criteria and weights set up for your thesis, or for a framework such as YC-style questions, the Mom Test or a Lean Canvas
- For each applicant: a scored validation report, a one-pager, market and competitor research, market timing and risks
- A side-by-side view of the whole intake, with data that belongs to your program and is yours to export
- Every applicant, accepted or not, gets a useful breakdown of their idea
- The interviewer assesses ideas and answers, not personalities, and your team makes every decision
What changes for your team
Your framework, not ours
Alex asks the questions your program cares about: your thesis, sectors and stage, YC-style questions, the Mom Test, a Lean Canvas, or your own rubric. The scorecard uses your criteria and weights, and the report comes in the format your team already reads. Interviews run in more than twenty languages, so an international intake is not a problem.
The routine goes away
First-round calls are replaced by an interview applicants take whenever they like, in any time zone. Your team reads a one-page summary and the full reports instead of booking half-hour calls, and sees the whole intake side by side. Every applicant gets the same questions, so decisions are easier to explain.
Data that compounds
Every applicant leaves structured answers instead of a free-form application. You see what an intake looks like: sectors, recurring weak spots, how one round differs from the last. Over time you can check which scores lined up with the companies that went on to do well. The data belongs to your program and is yours to export to a spreadsheet or your CRM.
Value for every applicant, not only the accepted ones
A rejection is usually silence. Here every applicant gets a real breakdown of their idea: market, competitors, risks and next steps. That is the kind of no founders remember.
Group pricing for your founders
Your applicants, cohort and portfolio get GoNoGo at a group discount, so they can keep pressure-testing ideas and pivots after the intake. It works as a perk you can list for your community.
Stronger applications at the door
Offer the interview as a free practice run before people apply. Founders arrive having already answered the hard questions about their customers.
Useful after selection too
Mentors can read the reports before their first meeting with a team, and the same interview at the end of the program can show what changed during the cohort.
Your own interviewer
On request, applicants meet an interviewer in your brand instead of Alex: its own face, its own voice, its own name, with the same structured interview behind it.
How a pilot works
Free for one intake. We do the setup; your team keeps every decision.
- 01Tell us your criteria. Your thesis, stage, sectors and what a strong application looks like to you. A rubric or last round's scoring sheet is enough.
- 02We tune the interview. Alex's questions, the scorecard and the report format are set up for your program. Your team takes the interview first, as applicants, and tells us what to change.
- 03Applicants take it. Each applicant gets a link, is told up front that the interviewer is an AI, and talks for about 15 minutes, in their own language.
- 04Your team decides. You get each applicant's reports and a side-by-side view of the intake. Every decision stays with your team.
Built to be fair to applicants
- It assesses the idea and what the founder says about it, including their relevant experience. It does not assess personality, emotions or the way someone speaks.
- Applicants are told up front that they are talking to an AI.
- Your team makes every decision. Nothing is accepted or rejected automatically.
- Audio is not recorded; the conversation is kept as text.
- Project data is stored on Google Cloud in Israel. The services that process it are listed in our Privacy Policy.
- A data processing agreement for your program, and deletion of any applicant's data on request.
